About Us

Josien was founded by Joe Aisien Ogbebor in 1977. Mr Aisien started his journey as a general merchant focussed mainly on the importation of cosmetics. In the 1980’s Josien was the largest importer of brands such as Symba, Mililo, Tura, Crusader and various others.

In 1983 the business ventured into wine and spirits and has subsequently dominated the Industry for the last 30 years, holding the exclusive distributorship for Moet Hennessy, Remy Cointreau, Diageo and many other iconic global liquor brands.

Josien later ventured into other industry verticals, catering to the needs of premium brands in the non-alcoholic beverage, confectionary, beauty/personal care and pharmaceutical sectors.

Since inception, Josien has been a business that gets the job done. It has always believed that actions speak louder than words and has built the business by consistently delivering beyond the expectations of its partners. Josien ensures that it never loses focus on its clients individual brands, no matter how many products it has in its portfolio at any given time.

Josien has gained enormous trade, market and industry insights over the years. We have learnt many valuable lessons along the way, having endured and overcome the numerous challenges that come with building a strong business in Nigeria.
